Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 November 2026

We collect only what we need to run the Life Armour Movement app. This policy explains what we hold, why, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. What we collect

  • Account details: name, email address and an encrypted (hashed) password.
  • Training data: fitness level, goals, completed workouts, streaks, favourites, ratings and comments.
  • Subscription data: your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
  • Messages you send through our contact form.

2. Why we use it

To provide your account and track your progress (contract), to take payments and keep records (contract and legal obligation), to send essential emails such as password resets (contract), and to improve the app and keep it secure (legitimate interests). We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who we share it with

Trusted processors that help run the service: Stripe (payments), our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider and cloud storage for videos. Each is bound by data-protection terms.

4. Cookies

We only use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and protect your account. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, so no cookie banner is required.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account we remove your personal data within 30 days, except payment records we must keep for up to 6 years for tax purposes.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it. Contact us and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
