Life Armour sessions are for general wellbeing and information only. They are not medical advice and are not a substitute for guidance from a doctor or qualified professional.
1. Check with your doctor first
Speak to your GP before starting any new exercise programme, especially if you are pregnant, over 50 and new to exercise, have a heart condition, high blood pressure, joint problems, a recent injury or surgery, or any other medical condition.
2. Know your limits
Choose workouts that match your fitness level. Warm up before training and cool down afterwards. Stop immediately and seek medical help if you experience chest pain, faintness, shortness of breath, dizziness or sharp pain.
3. Iron Mode (weights)
Lifting heavy weights carries extra risk. Use correct technique, lift within your capacity, use collars and safety equipment, and train with a spotter for maximal lifts.
4. Flow Mode (Tai Chi, calisthenics, mobility)
Move slowly into stretches and holds and never force a range of motion. Make sure you have enough space and a non-slip surface.
5. Your responsibility
By using the Life Armour Movement app you confirm that you take part voluntarily and at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, Life Armour is not liable for injury or loss arising from use of the content. This does not affect liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
